Not going to lie, creating this blog was probably one of the most frustraing things I have had to do in a very long time. But I'm working on it and I will get through this. When creating this blog I had to think about who, what, where, when and why was I creating this. I nedded to answer all of these questions before I could begin. So I took it step by step and started with the what. I needed to know the what first. I had no idea where to begin so I opened up google and I googled how do you create a blog. I had already strated creating my ePortfolio on Wix and I didn't realize that I could also do my blogs on here as well. So when I googled where can I create a blog it brought me to the Wix page. Which was kinda of a relief because I had already been dabbling in on the website trying to create my ePortfoilo. Once I found where I would begin I knew that I could start looking into creating my blog. I went in to my ePortfoilo and found the Blog link so I knew I would be able to add it on there I chose the layout that I wanted I had thought about doing a balnk layout but since it is my first blog I felt like I nedded a little help. I used the templates that wix had. I then decided to add a picture from the web. Of two children using technology in the classroom. Once that was in there I begin typing. I moved on to the who. Who was I going to be doing this for. What kind of audience did I want? I already knew that this blog was about technology for early elementary which is a topic that I am familiar with. So I knew my audience would be educators, moms, homeschool teachers, my administration, basically anybody in the education field. Choosing the right audience involves a mix of research and ongoing adjustment. But you can work through that as you go. By understanding and targeting the right audience, I would be able to create the blog that would make sense to my audience. So the next question I had was what did I want to achieve with this blog? I know wanted to be able to provide information for my coworkers but as I sat here and thought about it my blog could also be a place for moms, homeschool teachers and even administration. I wanted to talk, write, research, anything and everything about technology in early elementary classrooms. So I decided to go and search other blogs that had similar topics and looked at what I could change, add or make better. Once I had an idea of what I was wanting I was able to go back and create the blog the way I wanted to. I wanted to make sure the information was purposeful and meaningful. I didn't want a blog that didn't have an outcome or purpose.
