Hello, I’m Veronica Mata, Instructional Coach for Pre-K–2nd grade at Dalton Elementary in Uvalde, Texas. After fourteen years in the classroom, I discovered a passion for helping teachers create joyful, equitable learning environments where young students can thrive.

My journey through Lamar University’s Applied Digital Learning program strengthened my belief in the power of meaningful technology integration, authentic learning, and a true growth mindset. Through this work, I developed my innovation plan, Dalton Tech-Savvy Tots, and built systems of coaching, collaboration, and data-driven professional learning that support our teachers every day.

I am committed to leading with purpose, learning alongside my teachers, and creating classrooms where every child has the tools and opportunities to succeed.
