Implementation Overview Explanation
Reflection and Feedback
We've cheered each other on, shared ideas, and offered thoughtful feedback. As an instructional coach, I deeply value how this group not only supports but also challenges each other to grow. Whether we are heading in the right direction or the wrong direction, the feedback we give each other is detailed, specific, and invaluable.
Below is some of the targeted feedback I received from my peers that reassured me I was on the right path with my course design and LMS implementation.
Katelyn O'Quin:
I think you did a great job setting everything up! Maybe something to add would be course expectations for students. What is a choice and what do they have to do?
I love that you're using the Tara West GP&B. It is such a great structured literacy program that really gives a solid foundation and I wish more people used it!
I would consider addressing the questions of
-What will your role as an instructor be?
-What infrastructure will support students?
-How will you build a learning community.
Great job on your course!

Ann Zastryzny:
I like how organized your course is. What type of LMS are you using again? is it Seesaw or is the Seesaw in Canvas? Personally, I've used neither. So, I'm not too sure what they looked like before. I will say, you ladies in the lower grades do so much for us teachers in the upper elementary grades. We depend you all solely to have our kiddos gain those skills. I knew how much goes into what you all plan, but wow!

Ayla Rightenour:
Your video is sooo good! I also like how you arrange your modules in Weeks as well. Keeps things more organized that way.

Cristy Siklin:
Veronica, I agree with Katelyn and Ayla your page is so organized and easy to navigate. The weekly modules are consistent for early learners to be successful!

Added a course expectation for students.
